Xbox 360 & Sony PSP Modding help

Well today I bought an Xbox 360 and a Sony PSP. I want to mod them both so I can play games I download from Usenet but have no clue where to begin when it comes to actually modding them so please forgive my ignorance on this issue. Any help is appreciated big time. Is there soft mods for them like firmware hacks or something? Or will it require me to actually open them up and install a mod chip in them? Any web sites I can go to where there is instructions? Thanks for looking and helping :)

For the 360, you will have to open it up. Essentially, you will need to flash a new firmware on the 360 DVD drive so that it will recognize burnt DVDs.

The PSP is different. There is a software hack for it. Basically, you can use a game to trigger a software hack which will allow you to downgrade the formware to a version which allows you to run copies of games off the memory stick.

There are great tutorials here on FST in the guides/tutorial section. You should check them out.

In addition, try these links.
