downloading, thank god i got a newsgroup account other whys i coould have lost a lot of ratio from torrent sites after downloading recent top 4 four games.
lets hope this one is worth downloading like COD4 and not like GoW and FEAR.

Guess this is why membership to private trackers is useful (74 seeds and 8700 leechers on the public versions of the Razor torrent and it's going very slowly) :mellow:.
NForce suggests that the Razor torrent is nuked due to the crack not working on x64 versions of Vista (bad.crack_not.working.on.vista_64bit.exe.not.cracked) and it might be causing problems in XP x64.

They released a crackfix for the 64 bit version. Dunno if it works, it's Razor though, so I assume it does.

I mean, come on, you have incredibly futuristic, super-powered suit, that can turn invisible, and the enemies have guns but no armor. Might as well play a game where you're a giant boot against an army of snails.

well they're many, and you're one. and crysis will be hard to fully appreciate till the next gen graphic cards get released.

Didn't have an qualms but the game's bad imo. Just graphics with no real storyline and the dumbest endboss (in a goddamn FPS i get a Macross-like (think Pegasus console) leviathan). That and the way they shoved the fact that there'll be Crysis 2.

Then turn down the graphics settings, jesus. I used a 7950GT at 1680x1050 with Medium quality and got around 40FPS.

with the final exoskeleton boss? i used an 8800gt OC'ed to 700/1950/1850 + e6750 Oced to 3.7ghz and it was still chuggy at high. medium was better, but it still wasn't smooth, at least not compared to the rest of the game.
i seriously doubt u got smooth 40fps.
btw when i said the ending sucked i was refering to gameplay. it was hardly what u'd call a climatic experience, shooting at targets so huge you could only miss if your mouse was unplugged.

now u're just being cute aren't you. my whole complaint about the chugginess was refering clearly only to the ending; i said it in the first post and repeated it in the second post (which is why i mentioned the exoskeleton, which is the final boss btw). and now you say u haven't finished -___- and of course chugginess refers to performance, which I, along with everyone else, experienced with the final boss(es). it's not even a correct descriptor for gameplay.
anyway, i think u misunderstood me so...

It's an amazing game just because of the depth of the detail and immersement in the world. Personally it'd be this, COD4, and Bioshock for the best shooters to come out in a long long time.
