ok I signed up with www.usenet.com (http://www.usenet.com) . I downloaded news rover and my friend gave me an adress to look up for a specific file. But I cant figure out how to do any of it....

When you say he gave you a link do you mean to an indexing site like binsearch.info ? If so all you need to do is choose the file you want to download and hit create NZB then import it to your newsreader (double click it), or hit open with (newsrover) then newsrover should download all parts for ya.

ok i figured that out. NOW... my friend said said it should be X out of 71 files and I get 70 pages of files... but there only of two items... and there all X out of 174. Also I have been waiting all night for this group to update and now it just pauses randomly on me. Like every 2 seconds. what gives?
