In my opinion there are are 3 strong contenders:
1) Holland
2) Portugal
3) Croatia
Out of these I think the team that has the highest probability of winning is Portugal, they certainly have some amazing players. But the problem with Portugal is they are usually very unlucky.
So the next strongest contender, in my opinion, is Holland. They certainly play some beautiful football and have a lot of top notch players although a lot of them are getting old so it'll be interesting to see how they get on.
Finally Croatia... They have a very good chance as they also play some awesome football, and they have an excellent striker in Eduardo. They displayed some excellent football in the match against England and I think they deserve some credit.

I think its totally possible in 2012 under the Don. I really want to see them get baetter. But I think the most important thing for England right now is to kick Lampard off the team. I bloody hate Lampard, he's a total waste of space. the only team he plays good fro is Chelsea because of the boatload of cash he gets there.
Gerard should be made captain in my opinion.
Lets see how Don Capello deals with everything, it should be interesting.

It still to early.If Italy can play the way they did the wordl cup,they will be very hard to beat.Greece as defending Champs have also a word in there.
As for Portugal,they need to step it up a bit,and help Cristiano more.

Probably Italy... as much as I would love to see Portugal finally winning it. If Ronaldo played about half of what he plays in MU it would be ours. Figo would still be an asset in that team but he already said he wouldn't return so I think we'll get to the semi-finals or even the final but we will not win it yet again.
Germany has also rebuilt its team and has its chances I believe.

And finaly 2 - 0 finishing with 9 points, and 9 - 1 goals in three games. Not bad for the Dutch.
Well as i told you before easy 1st round, the 2nd part still stands, i guess we won't win the hole thing. Big chance we will be out in the quarter finals already, altough i have to admit that van Basten finally listened to what the team tought they should play. I was a bit surprised that the defense of the Dutch team is performing better then i expected. So maybe they surpise me and will go all the way. :rolleyes:
