Has Riaa Subpoeaned Aol Yet?

Of course, RIAA has been filing more subpoeanes then it has arms, and I've been reading that it has been filing most subpoeans with Comcast and Verizon (no surprise).

I also read that AOL hadn't received any subpoenas (of those 871, probably more now). My question is why? I read that RIAA is a partner to AOL, or vice-a-versa. Perhaps they subpoena their partners? Or perhaps they do.

I have WMCONNECT (wal-mart connect). I asked them as to whether or not they were owned by AOL. They said they were. It must be, because my IP address appears as:
uioura.rujad.fjoa.ipt.aol
So, am I technically aol?

Thank you.
Brad

AOL is a member of the RIAA. (with the Timer-Warner merge)

I wonder if their next version will include spyware to catch sharers. <_<

You got that right.

I have Wmconnect, which is owned by AOL, so I don't know if I'm technically under that IP, but I do use the same dial up numbers as aol. I traced my IP and I got this:
........traced to: cache-mtc-ah02.proxy.aol.com
So does that mean I'm technically on AOL?

Sucks for me, I have comcast, but I haven't been warned or anything yet. So it's all good.

I don't know what RoadRunner's relationship is, but there's no need to deliver a supoeana(sp?) to someone when they're more than willing to hand over the info for nothing.
