Deimos is right, it’s getting harder to find a suitable host. However, it is far from impossible since all the BitTorrent sites that were kicked out by the Dutch ISP Leaseweb found a new home within a week."

At least this news is a start and it's good news.
I for one will have no probs donating a few quid WHEN Demonoid re-appears.
Money will be an issue at first for them but after awhile it will be no probs as Demonoid had many users that really loved the place and will surely donate.
Great news and hopefully is back up soon rather than later :)

Demonoid was my place for rare movies (Suburban Commando) and bootleg Jethro Tull albums. I know I'm newsgroup crazy but I miss it. :cry:

Demonoid was my favorite tracker. It had almost everything, except the speeds. I do hope it returns.

I still miss it too , but life goes on . I see some trackers I use are starting to upload some older movies like Enemy Mine or stuff like Rem & Stimpy , or there's still the public trackers for the rare things I'm looking for . Demoniod was still my fav but whats the old saying ,you wont miss me till I'm gone ?

I liked the content, but wasn't too thrilled about the site and the community. Quality wasn't that great either. It was also swarming with anti-p2p.

It doesn't matter if the ratios survive or not, as they meant zilch @ demonoid.........you would never get banned for low ratio, as they used a different system than the majority of other trackers (that use passkey), and it was notoriously unreliable.
Deimos has hinted that it'll be back, but he has got a life, and even if it never comes back, he'll go down in history as one of the best. I'd buy him a beer or 3 any time ¬_¬

I really like demonoid especially the credibility of the files I downloaded from there...I've been using it since after suprnova died...I hope it will come back

Ya it does look a lil bit like demoniod ,green back ground with rare files like win 2000 ,or Win XP OEM Dell . Now if it had the new XP Dark ver 6 I'd join . :)

Yes, I used Demonoid almost exclusively... It seemed like I could find anything I wanted on there! It'll take awhile for the community to gather like that again.
