This movie is rated 8.9 by the time I post this thread. That's been the highest rate I've seen among movies in 2007.

This movie was awesome I saw the midnight showing on Christmas Eve in the theaters. I recommend it to everyone and it is definitely worth seeing in the theaters.

I really like that air tank contraption that Anton carries, does anyone know what it fires? It looks like bullets but I can't confirm it. Can't imagine how that would fire a bullets :dabs:

was explained in the movie. a little rod comes out then goes back in.

i sat down with my family and we all watched it last night. like everyone says, the ending is not what you expect, but it doesn't ruin the film imho.
the story grabbed me right away and there was lots of suspense throughout. it also has some very well played characters. a flick i'd say you should deff watch more than once.

It's definitely very good... only problem is it's hard to understand if English is not your main language because everybody has a Texan accent. Can't wait to watch it again with subtitles.
Also, the movie would be a lot worse if the killer had a different haircut

The hair cut suited the character what an evil mofo ,definitely Oscar material tho . Every time Sugar was on screen I was mesmerized , just the blood on the cowboy boots fetish was worth a watch . :D

Superb movie from start to finish. Loved the ending, so jarring that I had to go back and watch it again.

We were shown unimportant scenes whilst we only saw the after-effects of some major scenes, the film became something you had to actively participate in. The ending fits perfectly, there is no conclusion in the narrative of real life and we are forced to share Bell's despair and sense of hopelessness by not being given the answers we want/expect.
As least, that's how I saw it.

Definitely one of the best films I've seen this decade. Great performances, fascinating character study, and very chilling. Go see it now. :D

I thought this movie was good but not great. I would have liked it better if they would have shown what happen to the protagonist then telling about it. I guess i'm a little too hollywood lol. I'm glad they followed the book so closely though.

This movie was outstanding. Didnt hear much of it so did not have high expectations but nonetheless this was a great film. Very good character development, acting was good Javier Bardem does an exceptional job portraying a psychotic villan. The storyline although quite dark was relatively easy to follow.
I would highly recommend you watch this movie.

I like ncfom and juno lol.The end of no country i didn't like though only because i didn't understand.May have to watch it again to see what i missed.
