is there anyway to read an ntfs file system on windows 98 been looking all over the place cant find anything of the sort.

You can try a search for a program called Captain Nemo ( maybe CaptianNemo) It works for linux to ntfs and visa versa but I think there may be a win9x to NTFS viewer as well.

Ntfs for win98 is made for just what ya want to do, read ntfs in win98...
You can get it from http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware...tfswin98.shtml. (http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/ntfswin98.shtml.).
That ia a free version and only lets you read ntfs, not write(or delete) anything....If you want that you need to pay for it, or find it from the right place ;)
