Vid Card Help

i just got an ATI RADEON 7000 64mb and i put it in my pc and i just get a black screen :unsure: im using windows XP can anyone help?

Could be a number of things.
Make sure the card is seated in all the way.
If your switching from onboard video,you might have to disable it in your bios.
Also if it's an AGP card,make sure your motherboard is 2.0 compliant and supports 2X and up-my first AGP based motherboard only had 1X support.
Also had a prob. with pci based cards,tnt2 cards didn't work in it but I did have a Radeon 7000 pci card that worked.
