(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Help me compile a list of trackers without hit and run rules (aka you can use the buffer). Just trackers where it is not explicitly dissallowed

I'll start

TL
Waffles
BMTV

post more!

BitMeTV allow HnR's?

Posted by: JROQuinn

Demonoid :P

Posted by: fsephie

Well I'm not quite sure what you mean by no hit and run rules and then say that you can use your buffer. A lot of sites have rules against HnR but impose alternative rules like the 72hr rule on certain trackers so people can use their buffer without it being a hitnrun.

Posted by: sleepyy

Bitsoup, ncore, araditracker, thebox, torrent damage it's not stated in the rules but i HNR with a buffer every now and then nad not been warned some sites will warn you on the spot scc being one of them

yeah this is what most sites have in their rules. most music sites will either allow you to hit n run, or even though the say 'no hit n runs' they won't ban you for doing it once as far as i can tell

Posted by: cbzakis

If you have to seed for 72h according to that rule, then itis not considered a HnR..
I guess Amped means that the staff can tolerate if you download something and then dont seed back anything, provided that you have buffer.Right?

Posted by: Nemrod

At BitMeTV Hit&Run is expressly forbidden.

Posted by: sleepyy

No it's not people who have more than 1.0 ratio can turn off their torrents when finished this is stated in the f.a.q

:yup:
remove torrent right after d/l completes

Posted by: cbzakis

You mean general ratio 1.0..?Not for the specific file, right?
I have no idea for this tracker..
Generally there are trackers that don t force to seed till ratio 1.0 or for 543.34h...
example TB

Posted by: Nemrod

You are wrong, my friend.

In the F.A.Q is clearly stated that Hit&Runners can even be banned, and not only that, there is a post when they warn users that if you invite an user who H&R the amount this user downloaded will be added to yours.

from BMTV FAQ:

here is a lot of talk about having a 1:1 ratio and how long you should seed. This should help:
Your ratio is a measure across all your torrents.
Try to seed each torrent to at least 0.5 (REGARDLESS of how long this takes)
If the torrent is busy then hang about until you reach 1:1 (or longer if you can)
If you are seeding more than one torrent, but one has 100 seeds and the other has 1 seed, stop the one with 100 seeds and concentrate your bandwidth on the rarer one.
Whenever possible don't remove torrents just stop them. Then if the number of seeds falls you can jump back in quickly to get some credits.
DON'T LEAVE A SWARM that has a low seed to leech ratio until either:
The swarm has lots of seeds and you can do more good seeding elsewhere
You have reached 1:1Leaving a swarm before this will classify you as a "Hit and Runner" and will kill both your ratio and your kudos level. Eventually we might start banning these types of users. So even with ratio, you need to seed every torrent to .5 at MINIMUM
Edit: only one scenerio above is an exception, the one about having 2 torrents being seeded, 1 with 100 seeders, 1 with 1 seeder, and you can close the one with 100 seeders to help more with the less seeded one. But this would be very rare indeed.

you should correct what you said at TL, a HnR there is seeding below 0.7

Posted by: mievmo

what is the big prob ? seed after u dl.. at least 48 hours..

Posted by: sleepyy

New members (members with accounts less than 4 weeks old) and members with a ratio below 1.00 should always continue to seed for at least 48 - 72 hours or until they reach a upload to download ratio of 1:1, whichever comes first. Members with ratios above 1.00 may stop seeding immediately after download, if the torrent has a seeder to leecher ratio of 6:1 or higher.

I have no idea if this is for indevidual torrents or for your overall ratio but i thought it's for overall ratio

+1
In some cases you have to HnR..
For example if you download from an acc with big buffer, the file has many users seeding it..so you HnR..you dont need to seed the file, the file doesnt need you to stay alive and other users have to seed to maintain their ratio
Recently happened to me:happy:

Now I have to say +1.
I don't want the biggest buffered account, I want A >1 ratio, and if I could help the others, better.
With my 'more buffered'' accounts, I seed for a while (about 48 at least) and I stop when I have to, don't need to seed seed seed. Let the others have good ratios too.
But when I need to buffer mine, wow, I let it seeding for months xD.

I need to b/c i share a dsl line w/ 80 kbps up with 5 people. If I I am uploading the internet becomes so slow it un usable. I have a seedbox, but can't keep it forever so I want to buffer my accounts with it, then use the buffer without having to seed back. I also\so cant leave my comp on 24/7

Posted by: NekohDot

I've HnR a few times on SCC when i've not been able to seed and i haven't got a warning of yet.

Bitmetv punishes hit'n'runners. TL does as well.

@poster above me : happy 100 :D

Posted by: LRm

TR and TL allow HnR'

Posted by: popeye09

SP and Filelist allows HnR if your ratio is adove the rules

Posted by: fOrUmAs

Midnight-Torrents allowe users to have 4 H&R and if he get 5 he will be banned from site by system..1 H&R are removed every 10 days if u dont get 1 more in that time

Posted by: Tokeman

I've hit and run on TL, but only on highly seeded torrents with very low leechers. Never had an issue there.

Posted by: squirr3l

thepiratebay and mininova :P

Posted by: th0r

sct as long as there are at least 3 or more seeders still seeding that torrent

Posted by: horiZen

as long as the file is seeded 1:1 or above you should'nt get a warning regardless of the "under 72hour rule"(if you do take it up with a mod)

however its the long term seeders that generally make great tracker communities special

Posted by: Submission

No it's not people who have more than 1.0 ratio can turn off their torrents when finished this is stated in the f.a.q

quote it. I can't find it.

Posted by: Xtremist

I have H&R a lot of time. Never ever been warned anywhere. Dunno y. Probably bcs I have HUGE buffers :)

Posted by: slimdogp

SCC if your global ratio is above 1.5

However, with mp3 and 0day appz being perm free leech, I wouldn't recommend ratio farming on those and hnr'ing on ALL your movies, tv etc. But if theres a good mix, and your ratio is high, this is allowed.

Posted by: typeoholic

TPB is perfect for non-seeding a**holes :P :P

Posted by: aysomc

in my experiences basically all sites with the exception of ftn and iTS dont have problems with this. my internet get shut off at nights most the time and no places have had a problem with it since i download a lot of tv shows and then internet goes out right after it. ftn an iTS need to be like that though since they dont use a ratio system.

But itīs not obligatory to seed in a continuous way, you can seed, disconnect and then connect again, as long as it is in a reasonable period of time.

Posted by: grimms

Best to just seed as much back you can for as long as you can. Preferably 72 hours or at least until you get 1:1 ratio on that particular torrent.

Posted by: Zaxx

Same here...and on some trackers I seed 1:1 plus the min. time. :)

and tbh, I'm not too keen on 'seedboxers' who buffer their ratios by hundreds of gigs. That much overseeding makes it harder (or takes peeps longer) to hit 1:1 for those with regular connections. The exception of course being the original seed(s)...that's their job.

revTT ?

TL i think and czone + TT+TR +waffles

thepiratebay and mininova :P
I hear isoHunt also does :P
