how do i get the seedbox to work with bitmetv? Do i need to add cookies

Posted by: cocalait

I didn't have any problem. I logged in from my seedbox, and also from my PC. It allows multiple IP's. I guess i have enabled cookies, but not sure.

Posted by: turbotalon21

how did you log in from your seedbox

Posted by: ifkstab

shouldn't have to do anything, most sites use your passkey and i think bitmetv does too.
could be wrong though

Posted by: cocalait

yeah bitmetv uses the passkey.

And I logged in with IE, my seedbox has Windows :(

Posted by: turbotalon21

well what should it do then

Posted by: stoi

2 ways of doing it

easy way:

Login in from home PC, download torrent, upload it to your Seedbox, start it on your seedbox.

Harder way:

Install VNC server on seedbox (or something similar), install VNC viewer on PC, login to Seedbox with Viewer, install a browser if it hasnt already got one installed. go to the site (from seedbox), login to site, download torrent, start it.

its most like the version of your utorrent, and if ur using torrentflux, update it

Posted by: turbotalon21

not sure how to update it. TorrentFlux 2.1-b4rt-98 (http://tf-b4rt.berlios.de/)
or how to install it.

Posted by: moksen

yes seedbox worked fine!

Posted by: rvt

With tflux b4rt, it comes with the experimental of bittornado (0.3.18) by default. You need to switch to 0.3.17

Grab http://download2.bittornado.com/download/BitTornado-0.3.17.tar.gz
Unpack it, and upload the contents of BitTornado-CVS\BitTornado to bin/clients/tornado/BitTornado

Posted by: turbotalon21

-CVS\BitTornado to bin/clients/tornado/BitTornado

cant access that

Im my case utorrent ( at the time still 1.6 ) took a while to connect. I configured it just like in my home PC. I remember power cicling my server, logging in and out a few times and eventually everything started working o.k. It sometimes take a while specially if I close utorrent and open it again...

Posted by: BlueLabel

try other client like utorrent
maybe your torrent client is band
