Its been like that for awhile.Yeah use to be nice when the PMs would pop up.....but am use to looking up next to "My Controls" now for any new PMs.

I think they're talking about the email notification thingy.
Besides, the PM's still pop up when you're online for me.

Ummmmm I don't.I think I have mine turned off.....why would somebody want their E-Mail box full of that?
Everytime somebody post in a thread you started.....damn that would suck.
Well I guess that would be ok on a forum that you did not visit much.....but who does that with us? :D

I don't get the PM emails anymore (well, not tonight anyway), but they still pop up when I log in, so that's OK by me.
As far as the subscription to topics goes, it can be handy in parts of this forum you don't check a lot.
Just be careful not to do that for a topic in the lounge.
ESPECIALLY the biggest spam one. :D

Maybe Jon disabled it.
I can imagine it would put a considerable load on the server and take a fair part of the bandwith, sending thousands of mails a day.
If it helps the forum, I can do without that option just fine.
