I am now tracking the attacker of the forums...If I find you...I will either call your isp and have you pay for my time and bandwidth...Or I will simply catch the next flight to the location that your isp will supply to me...And take care of ya :-)
So...Now if you get a error like "Sorry, the server is too busy to handle your request, please try again in a moment " This is simply a precaution to save the server undue stress due to the attacks...It will stop the forums if the attacks occur...
If you are the individual causing these attacks...Trust me I will take care of you...
So I suggest you stop ;)

Highest serverload I saw this afternoon is around 7.
Still enough to get the busy server screen, but refreshing got me back so far.
Maybe it's just script kiddies after all.
