Music Scene Axx?

Hey guys, im new here and have a few questions.
Ive been reading about this thing, Scene Axx.
I know its releases of music/apps/movies ect. extremely early.
Now im wondering, what does it take to get apart of a good music scene axx?
And, what do you use to get the files? FTP? And IRC to talk?
What would it take to get into one of these, and how would you access their FTP?
Sorry for the nooby questions :)

Yes, usually it's like that - using the established services ;)
It's very difficult to get in touch with the scene..
If you work in a pressing plant, you could get in, or if you have something to offer.. still not that easy
However you could also find dump sites where you pay to leech..
So someone copies the files onto his server and lets you download for a price.
The scene operates secretively, as the FBI etc. try to bust them.
You should go to a private place, meet people, perhaps someone can help you...

Hi just wanna add my 2 cents...
I'm still learning as well. Now, for me, jsut the other day I've gotten into an FTP which I pay a monthly fee for which has scene releases very, very fast. I don't know if this is considered a "dump" site or what but I got in touch with the right person (luckily) and got in.
If you look on scene releases NFO files, they have a section that says something like "If you have anything to offer, email us at: ..." so I guess you can start there if you have anything to offer taht is.
If not, a private tracker's forums or IRC would be a great place to ask around.
The thing with this is it takes time to get to the best of the best and it takes work, reputation, points, and you have to go one step at a time usually.

i can't help think what it feels like to be in the scene! wow.... :D it must be very exciting in the beginning to leech stuff from topsites.... etc etc... :)

i meant the been in scene part. now you still do download stuff from topsites when you are in teh scene. pay to leech must be very boring when compared to the thrills of really been a active part of teh scene...
