SAP Programming-What is the best certification to get, how do I get training for cert

I want to find a beginners guide to working with SAP, the different options for us programmers who want to get into programming SAP, the certification I would need to program in SAP for a living, and where I could get good training for programming SAP.
Basically I know it is a language similar to C++ and Java and it is used by major corporations to integrate different OS's/APPS and covers basically every aspect of business computing.
So if I'm wrong on that, someone feel free to let me know :P
Any help would be appreciated.

As I know, they use a language called ABAP, you can read more about it here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABAP).
