Picture quality will be horribly blurry.
Try connecting your home computer to it to see for yourself...
It's good for movies and games, not for anything else though.

Have to agree with rossco, don't even consider that tv as being any use as a monitor.
At 640x480 the specifications aren't nearly good enough.
