If you want a status change, you need to donate $10, which will earn you ELITE status for one week.
Without donating, you need VIP access to access invite section.

powerusers haven't had access to invite forum for a long time. only elite & vip.
also, if you're a newer member who uses the invite forum right after a small donation, chances are good that your donation will get refunded and your account banned. they don't want people who's main interest is invites at their site, their invite forum is for TRUSTED long-term members. I've given and received invites to about a dozen of the best sites there, got the ones I wanted within 24 hours every time. ;-)

if you pay a server (with donation money) and buffer your account, you will be vip for ever and get 3 invites/months ;)
