Help With Newsgroups, Irc

for one reason or another my kazaa dl speeeds are going way down from around 200kbs to only 0.1-2kbs :( i searched the kazaa fourms and found another program called bittorrent which I downloaded and used. but bittorrent doesn't have a very big community and usually, the dl speeds aren't that great. which leaves only two other options left: newsgroups and irc. cept only 2 tiny problems...what r newsgroups?? and how do u use irc?? :lol: :D
or if there r other options, please tell me :D thanx

There are guides to use IRC just search Yahoo for How to use IRC or Tutorial on IRC anything of that nature. And I like the 4 extra posts u made. :D
