where do you live?
you may be entitled to "hardship" money
basically a loan you don't need to repay :P
Posted by: abu_has_the_power
interesting... i live in Hinsdale, that's one of the suburbs by Chicago. Wat is this loan your speak of?

hey abu,
heres something you could look into (http://freespace.virgin.net/dcnet.website/ARTICLES/confessions.htm)
Posted by: abu_has_the_power
um... no, prob not. sory. my sperm is mine, and no one is goin to take it away. grrrrrrr........
 :D
but if u can help, post or email
like anything will do

well, i'm from the uk and i've been told before about "hardship" payments by a govt rep who came to our school
the situation in the uk is that you go to the nearest coucil building to apply
you can get 10 payments of £20 (last time i heard about it), which is approx $300 dollars or so
i suppose you could ask a govt rep in your area...

I think it's called welfare here. And they aren't quite that generous. Unless you make babies for a living and can't keep a husband.
Posted by: abu_has_the_power
yea, welfare is not wat i'm talking about. but i'm not asking 4 money, just used parts or parts from like a old computer and u don't want it, and ur gona like feed the neighbors dog with it or something, then u can lend a helping hand

Wow! I can get an 80mm case fan (brand new) for $4.95 Canadien dollars.
If you need a fan, go cut someones lawn or sweep their driveway or something.
Do you know how much trouble you can cause yourself asking for someone online to send something to your address at 14 years old? Have you talked this over with your parents?

i never even thought of this...
if you still want packages delivered to your home address, carry on, but it's a bit of a risk...

Hinsdale, eh?
You should have a fair supply of computer shops around there- not big guys like CompUSA, but little private shops- who probably have tons of old comps laying around.
Businesses who upgrade sometimes have lots of older pcs they would love to get rid of.
Hit the bricks, Abu.

ok, guess this hasn't been very helpful. guess the abscence of the forum has made everyone uncooperative. but ok, i know wat u mean. yea, my parents prob won't approve. but there a few sellers from places that wanted to just get rid of their loads of shit, and i might just pay like 5 bucks for everything i need. i don't no, but i'm starting to feel other forums are somewat friendlyer. ok, thanks anyway, some good ideas. yes this is stupid, but hey, i'll find other ways to do this. But do you really get serious, adult, educated replies in these other forums?
I'm guessing not. You cold have gotten just the kind of reply you wanted but ended up with a world of trouble instead.
