Just imagine if The Beatles were formed in New York in 1977...

Joey Lennon, Sid McCartney, Captain O' Harrison, and Markey Starkey are a fab four of punk rockers. This cover band does almost every beatles song in a great punk rock style. You metal heads had your Beatallica. Now its the punks turn.

I recommend you all give 'em a listen. Especially If you love The Beatles, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Me First, or just punk rock covers in general.
They have 4 albums out now and another one on the way.

Posted by: Adster

nop;e not yet

Posted by: Gutter

well I might end up ordering this CD, just to rip and spread around soulseek since it seems only two of their albums are available on it.

Posted by: Gutter

:o Just found the band behind The Punkles:

http://www.prollhead.de/images/fotos/proll_2003.jpg

ProllHead!
(yes the punkles wear wigs)

you can check out their website here <------------ (http://www.prollhead.de/)
you might need a translator on your browser. It's pretty easy to understand the site without one though.

I am currently looking for some of their albums to share, they have quiet a few!
10 to be presise.

Big thanks to these (good beer lovin) punkers for keeping the beatles music alive

The new punkles album (Pistol) has only been released in Japan right now, it will be released in europe on January 2004 <_< :( :(

Big bummer unless you import. Enjoy all and let me know if any prollhead or the new punkles album pops up somewhere out there on the net...

...damn not bad for a drunken post...

Alright!

I want Pistol for x-mas, better get my order out

Congrats Lilmiss

Posted by: lilmiss

I will be definatly after more of their stuff.
Bit of a sucker for cover bands.

I had to play loads of Beatles stuff for my organ exams, Elenor Rigby is bloody difficult to get the hang of. so I would love their version of that. :)

(xmas orders? ive been begging for the new Distillers lp, and "Mendoza - Mustard Plug" for ages now. fingers crossed my bro may take pity on me.)
