...pinned topics from the "view new posts" feature?
currently half of the first page of results is filled with pinned topics, making it difficult to view and recent activity on non-pinned topics
obviously pinned topics are supposed to be viewed, however, is there anything that can be done to remove them from the "view new posts section"?

A good example is Software World. What the solution would be is to gather up all pinned tutorials and put them in a seperate forum.
