Good Dsl Speed, Lousy Download Speed

:( I have DSL coming into the computer at 450 k/s, but my downloads are coming in at .3 and .6 with only 2 or three downloads. There must be a conflict with windows or ? I disconnected any antivirus, adaware. Don't know where to go from here. I don't think I have any wierd settings on my Kazaa lite. Any ideas?

Hmm... I have the same problem sometimes with a 256k dsl line. Sometimes people can't upload very fast. Does this happen even if you're downloading somthing that has 50 or more users? Because if a file isn't poplular sometimes it makes it unbearably slow (like a year downloading time).

How many users are you downloading from when you get those speeds? That could be the problem as your not DL'ing from enough sources... And what version of Kazaa Lite are you using? Make sure its the K++ version, get it at the Main Page (http://www.k-lite.tk) and Diet Kaza is located here. (http://www.dietk.com/versehost.php) any more questions? :unsure:

ummm....Diet Kaza does not have any spyware/adware in it, I can assure you of that, as I have been using it myself for well over a year or so
And since version 2 came out, it's totally free now :)

Obivously ur right Yusuke...im noticing that masterofdownloads seems to enjoy spreading bs (check out some of his other posts).
Nagaforce - sounds like uv got a firewall running - if its XP it mite be the built in one, turn it off, otherwise if you have a better one you just have to change the settings so that the ports that kazaa needs are not blocked (1214 etc)
