I was wondering about the same thing, startrekdude, but I clicked on one of the links and Sig2Dat did pop up and write a download file.

The same URL that displays the download page if it's clicked from an outside link (like from Google), which for example would be /file.php/1234/ is the same link that sends the sig2dat:// URL. The script checks the referring URL to decide what action to do.
If it shows the huge download link page over and over, your browser probably isnt sending the referring URL to the server. (What would cause that?!) But I had to do it that way to count the downloads.
A bunch of other people have had problems clicking links on the site, but at the same time plenty of others have had no problems. If any of you have some experience with this and might know why people are having problems, let me know? I have Sig2Dat installed on 4 different computers and it works fine, so its hard for me to find the bugs.
PS: You don't have to register to browse/search the files, but you do, to click the download links, or else it displays the "Please Register Now" page. =)

Nice site! Mines better though <_<
Posted by: Snipples
Hmm...... well, I'm not gonna get into a "mine's better" war, but in my defense, your site has 214 downloads, as compared to my 15,858. =)

Well now when click on link the first time it did ask me to register which I did but now when I click on the download link it I get a the page can not be displayed.
Also I would like to add link in verified section of this forum does work for me.
