I only just found this on Neowin 10 minutes before this post - The CloneCD section on Elby's web site confirms this.
This is a dark time IMO; CloneCD was (although not as well known as) in line with Nero and Alcohol 120% in terms of cloning performance, although it hardly reached outside of Europe.
It will be missed :(

I beleive that is the latest, I just downloaded it a week or so ago and that is the version that I have.
That is a damn shame I obsolutley love that program

AFAIK, it was 4.2.0.2.
If you don't have it, there's a DDL for the setup in one of the comments on the source page I gave above.

It's a shame what terrible organisations such as the DCMA can be capable of. :( I'm just curious to know why CloneDVD is still being continued though? In my opinion, ClonCD is the best 1:1 CD copier available at the time and it will always be. :)

Sometimes I find myself with Nero being unable to copy some heavily-protected CDs, in which CloneCD would prove useful.

Doesn't this have to do with the new copyright law approved in Germany (see Zeropaid (http://www.zeropaid.com/news/articles/auto/09122003g.php) and CDRFreaks (http://www.cdfreaks.com/news/7557))?
This is easy to solve. Just move CloneCD's development to the Netherlands. :D

That was some sweet software. I used it like 3 months ago, before i found daemon tools. oh well, someone else where come out of nowhere and make a better software. there registration number was like 45 letters long lol.

I don't get this. Does it say anywhere in the clone CD docs that the program is intended to be used to break or circumvent copy protection? I just use it as a failsafe CD copier to reproduce my own data CD's.
Suppose an artist produces his own album, records it to CD and wants a reliable method to produce identical copies. Now, because some kid has used the program to copy a game CD, or a music CD, this reliable and cost effective program is no longer an option. Why?
Why is no thought ever given to people who use their computers and removeable media for their own media?
I already have to pay a CD tax to support some crappy washed out Canadian artist any time I want to ghost my drive or backup working data. Isn't that enough? Where does it stop? What about my needs? What about my wallet?
