Help Can't Find My D: Drive

Guys, After uninstalling zone alarm, I lost my D drive dvd/ cdrw
I click on the folder and is empty.
Any ideas THANK YOU in advanced

If you are using XP...
Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager. See if your DVD/CD is listed and operational.
If not, go to "Add new hardware" and try to get your system to detect it.

If ur hardware is properly connected, u should have got an auto message 'new hardhare found'. But I think u didn't get it. So it means u didn't connect it properly. Check the wire, i.e. ide cable then try again...

IT USUALLY HAPPENS AFTER UNISTALLING NERO OR EZCD CREATOR BURNRER
START
REGEDIT
EDIT
FIND
LOWERLIFTER AND UPPERLIFTER
ERASE VALUES
AFTER BOOTINUP WINXP IT DETECT THE SOFT WHERE MISSING, IT AUTOMATIC
DL IT IN HD
RESTART BINGO DVD/CDRW ARE FINALLY BACK
