In a some pc mag, internet articles or newspaper there always someone talking about ipod. Is the ipod more than an mp3 player. I don`t see anything so Special about ipods.

it can hold huge amounts of mp3s. (40gb or 10k songs.). the new one weighs as much as 2 CDS!.. most mp3 players cannot hold hold more than 256kb, while the majority of those only hold 128.

should have got an mp3 player :(
i think the iPod looks good, it's really light too

yea im debating whether to buy one.. its taken me quite a while to get enough money, being in school and all.

also, whats the deal with insurance on these things. i mean it sounds stupid, but i bet ppl lose them all the time.

i got a 5 year coverplan on my minidisc player for about £85
quite a rip off, but considering i paid over £200 for the player, i thought it'd be worth it

i think insurence is in case somthing goes wrong with the product

and its much cheaper than the ipod

yeah, those new generation Archos's rock, and they do have video and Picture playback.
Yes, its not great play back, but atleast you can play it back.........
I think if you shop around, you could probably find them for about 300 too.

If you want something that can also play movies or view pictures, you should get the full archos mpeg4 player that was designed to play movies. An mp3 player with a half ass video player isn't really worth it.
