whats onegai teacher like?

There's Naruto that I like. but unfortunately, starting from the 48th episode, I cant seem to be able to play them anymore. The movies freezes right at the beginning and the sound keeps going. I tried downloading the codec pack but it didn't seem to correct that problem.
Does anybody have an idea on how to fix it ???
Posted by: Snee
Project A-KO, should be just as crazy.
I'm a "Ghost in the Shell: Stand alone Complex" fan myself, it isn't very similar though.
Posted by: Arcadia
The Street Fighter VII series is most excellent ;)
Posted by: strange
install Xvid & Divx Codec.exe 24MB
it will give you codecs you need.
plus zoom player whitch is the best media play in my opinion.
Posted by: Speedmonkey
install Xvid & Divx Codec.exe 24MB
And where can I get it???
Oh and as for animes that airs on tv, try to get them subbed because they are usually ''Americanized''.
Posted by: huuramis
cool thnx after ive finished gettin the onegai twins series ill jump onto project ako, is that simmiliar to dbz ? or onegai teacher ?.
to fix that movieuse a program called DIVFIX, just choose check errors and if they come up, choose rebuild index and if its sits there for ages just untick the thing that sais *KEEP ORIGENAL FILE*.
personaly i like the dragon ball z episodes that are in english and not in japanese, i think voices sound so stoopid in japanese dbz.
but in the onegai teacher series they have all japanese and with english subs, and i think they are better that way.
by the way, whoever done the subs and the quality of these onegai teacher's and onegai twins did a great job!.

Trigun
Cowboy Bebop
Orphen
My personal favorites.
Posted by: Teh_Unot
Cowboy Bebop. you can't be an anime fan and not love this show.
Posted by: ilw
Naruto rules, best fights ever
Gundam seed is good, Great Teacher Onizuka is excellent, Cowboy Bebop is good, Ghost In The Shell is very good, Neon Genesis Evangelion is very good, Serial Experiments Lain is very good , but i still don't understand it :( . Trigun is amazing In fact so much anime is good, if you go to http://www.anidb.net and check out their ratings, anythign over a 7 - 7.5 is worth watching, except anything from the hack series <_< which is just the dullest set of anime series unless your are a big role playing game fan
@Justsomeguy whats Orphen about?

Super-powered schoolgirls, spacebattles, insane fights over nothing etc, I haven't seen much of it but it's certainly very crazy, though the manga-version of DBZ is in a class of it's own, I haven't seen the DBZ animé though.

manga is comics, anime is animation ie cartoons, hentai is porn anime.

hentai is porn anime.
Hentai=Perverse or Perverted in japanese
I think
The manga is usually more extreme, and more beautiful as well when compared to the animé version, I believe that is the case with dbz, so I'm satisfied with reading it.
Ghost in the Shell and Akira are good in any version though.

RahXephon and Rurouni Kenshin ( OAVs only! )

Slightly off topic here, but am I the only one who thought Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangeleon was a whiney little bitch?
... and that Oscar was just a total bitch full stop?
Posted by: CONFLICT
Neo Genesis' Evangelon most definatly the best anime series to EVER hit earth.(my opinion) And yes, Shinji was a whiney bitch. Akira itself has NOTHING on Evangelon, Anime fans have GOT to see the series.
Tekken the movie is lame but has fun moments....

Does no one bother with searching hmm ? :P
Anyways, here's three other threads (there are more than these) on the same subject:

http://www.klboard.ath.cx/index.php?showtopic=30445

And don't get me started, I could write for the rest of the night so I head off to bed instead ^_^
On a side note, I, among a shiteload of other do not particulary think NGE was anything special. Seen it once, and that was quite enuff, but then, am not all that much for existential blabberings and religious undertones. It was nice enuff up to ~ep 22-23, after that (those who has seen it knows) it goes over the edge (it's better with the alternatives, but they still can't make up to a sensible end ^_^) (am sure every one has heard the rumor of running out of production money... why am I not surprised ;) )
As for Kenshin, you can't only see the OVA's, you'll miss out on the story that way, the last OVA (OVA 2) is on a different level completely than the rest of the series (incl. the movie) tho. Suggestion, you *might* watch ova 1 before the tv series (otherwise around ep 80 or so, going by memory so it might be off ^_^) the movie somewhere in the middle and ova 2 last (definitly don't see it before anything else).
Hentai = "Perverse", but denotes "sex" in an anime, hence a pr0n anime is called hentai. (milder version is Ecchi, which, if found in relation to an anime suggests sexual humor, maybe some skin and most assuredly some pantsy shots ^_^)
But damn, I was off to bed... here I go

 Dont listen to those reviewers, they obviously dont know thier ass from their elbow.
Cowboy Bebop is some of the most inspired animation that I've seen in a looooong time! (how long? well, anyone else remember Marine Boy?)
You'll be missing out if you don't see it at least once, trust me on this.

they said its a bout a bunch of jazz players and the ship is called bebop.
unless those jazz players can smash those jazz instruments on other peoples heads, then i wont download it.
Posted by: uNz[i]
They dont play jazz.. that reviewer is just taking the p*ss.
The episodes are named after song titles. The series is set in the future, mostly in space and on colonized frontier planets. The characters are futuristic bounty hunters, and as for things getting smashed... wellll, exactly how big do you like your explosions? :)

I buy it (I'm almost ashamed to say this), got a guy who imports, not far from where I live, I'm currently looking forward to the Ghost in the shell 2 collection, loved the first series. I think DC++ is good for it, I found a couple of hubs that seemed to deal with manga and/or animé.
As far as for animé, I buy half of that too, the rest, stuff that can't be found any other way, comes from someone who knows someone etc, (in fact I got access to a whole lot of stuff just yesterday, I think I'll start on it with watching the "Helsing"-series today).
Posted by: thisiswhoweare
oh forgot, Goldenboy too.
Posted by: Grimlock
Trigun Rocks my world I absolutely loved it. my only problem with it was that the series was too short(i think it's only like 26 eps or something) but I absolutely loved every episode and as an added bonus my girlfriend liked the female Milly character(she can be quite funny at times) so we watched it together.

How come no one's mentioned Kare Kano?
It's quite hilarous sometimes :D
Posted by: huuramis
some friends suggested these to me.
Full Metal Panic!
Pia Carrot 2
Oh My Goddess!
Frantic, Frustrated & Female
Iketeru Futari
Great Teacher Onizuka
Rizelmine
Voogie`s Angels
Usagichan de Cue
Virtual Angels
he said they are simmilar to onegai teacher and onegai twins. anyone seen any of them ?

I really like gundam seed now. It was boring in the begging but it kept getting better and better. Too bad if finished (at least until seed 2 comes out).
Cowboy bebop is great, so is trigun, NGE, Naruto (but is going really slow right now (10 f***ing eps on prelims, just get to the damn story)) and a bunch more.
Last Exile and Getbackers were okay, nice time fillers.
But now that seed is done i would have to say that my favorite series is Read or Die (ROD). I don't know why i like it so much. The title sounds so dumb, and so are the stories and characters but the fights are so cool. Very original.
Posted by: ilw
I think Gundam seed is getting worse, I just watched 49, and they're reusing scenes way too much, if i see that green gem explode or that beam curve through 3 fighters again i'm gonna be well annoyed. imo It had its peak in the middle somewhere. Also wtf, practically no characters die in so many episodes and then 5 in one episode ??

has anyone seen the Ikkitousen series.
the review sounds pretty awesome.
