has any one else recently seen a dramatic fall in all the connections you get from kazaa.
I could normally downlaod off plenty of sources and get a good few kbs but recently i get plenty of sources but only 1 in about 20 is any good to download off.
is anyone else getting this and do you think this could have any thing to do with the slammer worm. :(

I have noticed...For most things I download (American TV shows), I am getting no more than 2 kb/s. :( I am suffering! I don't know if this has to do with Slammer, but here is another possibility: People are sharing less and less, thus not enough sources to DL from. But what do I know... I'm just a noob. :)

I get this for some things, for example tv shows - they're not as popular as movies so for some of them getting even one source makes me jump for joy. Usually though I can still get several sources for a more popular file. I haven't used Kazaa much lately for downloading though, just sharing what I've got already.

The Slammer worm is pretty much done and over with as of now, there still may be limited occurances of it, but the widespread attack from it is over for now...

this sucks. i have been trying to download the friday after next dvd screener and all i can get is the first 30 megs. i have found 80 to 90 sources to download off with the asm tool but not 1 is working.
im convinced something is wrong here. they connect and the little download status bar pops up then it stays at 0 for about 10 secs then they disappear.
this has happened for the past 6 or 7 hours and it has not gone any further with the download.
help :( :(
