on 2 fast 2 furious, the cops...get the metal thing and clip it to the baddys car and the baddys car kinda breaks down. any1 know what it is and what does it do...also r they used for real?

Electric Pulse it sends a pulse throughout the car fucking up all the functions of it and yeah they might be used eventually, I have never seen one in real life though.

up in scotland we call it an "utter sh*te detector"

yea they are about in the uk, never really used tho, they send them on a rack from under the police car and they go under your car and use an emp. saw it shown on a technology show once, very cool
