I got a file and it had a .Bin file and a .cue file and i opened the .bin file and it was done fine. but there was a .Cue file and i left it alone, not knowing what to do with it. but the software isn't working fine, could it be because of the missing .cue file. and if so how do i open it. i used winiso for the .Bin, what do i need for the cue?

It says to your Burning software all the necessary info for burning it!

Example

FILE "NFS4.img" BINARY
  TRACK 1 MODE2/2352
  INDEX 1 00:00:00

When u get .bins and .cues u are supposed to burn them to disks and then they will be just like the original cd then just install from that. To burn bins and cues: Just use Nero then go to file>burn image(Nero 5.x) or choose recorder>burn image(Nero 6) and then select the .cue file (make sure the .bin is in the same folder) the hit burn.

do i have to burn it to a cd? can't i just open the bin file without needing the cue file?

Yes you can, using a prog like ISOBUSTER or ALCOHOL 120%

Use you Cue/BIN files on Alcohol 120% ...you have the option in Alcohol to set the copy pretection to what ever you want before you burn. Safedisc , Securom etc..

Then go here http://www.gameburnworld.com/PCprotectedgames.htm and find what protection your game uses

Before following the above suggestions the other esteemed members have given, try reading this topic (http://www.klboard.ath.cx/index.php?showtopic=12710). :)

But Nero does not come close to Alcohol when it comes to copy protection

I recommend u burn it though.
