If you didn't modify the default settings when you installed it, it must ask if a program can access the internet everytime the program is launched... Unless you check the "remember this next time I use this program".
oops! I forgot: you can change that later in "Program Control"> "Programs"

zone alarm pro is real easy to use if u have any minor computer knoledge, u'll figure it out, try using the help files if u have any real problems
