File Describing?

I see fancy descriptions on files I download, but I don't know how to do this for my own file collection - mainly old music files. Can anyone tell me?
Thanks

Right click on the file in your "My KaZaA" - choose "Edit Details" - violla!!

Great - thanks very much, easy when you know how isn't it? Does that fix the problem of idiots putting films up for download, like 'Treasure Planet', and when you watch it it turns out to be 'Teddy Knickers Goes to Town' or somesuch?

It may solve the problem on your end but for some reason that continues to be a problem.

Often you can verify the file yourself simply by checking out any discrepancy between the title and the filename, i.e. title 'Spank the Monkey' vs. filename 'Mating Habits Of The Black Rhinocerous.avi' But sometimes even filenames are completely bogus too.

I use AVIpreview to check out the title of the film after about 20 Mb or so of download, that way I have at least an idea of whether I want it or not, and haven't lost much time.

I still don't understand why people do that. It's been explained to me before but I'm still mystified by their motivations.

It's usually the B picture on the 'Teddy Knickers Goes to Town' double feature. Rare now and not often posted for download.

Yeah, that's what I got too. Interesting film but way off the subject of Black Rhinocerii.

(now I'm just post whoring, I'll go back to category and see if I can't find something useful to contribute)

How does AVIpreview work? Where does it live? Various websites seem to offer it, but I can't get my head round whether it's in/out of KaZaa..

Its packed with the k++ or K-lite - just look in the KaZaA folder - as you download an avi-file you can preview to see if its genuine or a good copy etc. Point the proggy to the dat-file.

A hint on describing is whether it is the full version, reliable and works.

Good suggestion bro!

By the way, great Avatar but with a superb nick like yours AmarjitSingh, i would have thought Apu was a better choice for your pic. This isnt a critic just a suggestion :D
