I have 512k and most times I download at 3kb or under but som dl's happen at 20kb/sec I even got 40kb/sec but not for long is there a way of optimizing DL speed?
Or is it because of the supernode?the user's connection?
I have a Zonealarm firewall btw

What about a mod to the kazaalite program that tells you the type of connection a user has ?
Like on WinMx, Morpheus, Etc.
That way at least you would get some idea.

^your sig made me look twice. "Wait a second...my IP is 192.168...." :D
There should be an unwritten (umm...written) rule:
make your username include the speed of your connection.
