hi all
is it possible to download a movie burn it to cd and play it back on a stand alone dvd player or do i need extra software and what format i.e divx, svcd, etc do i need to download.

well you need to know what kind of format your dvd player supports

then look at the guides for converting your movies to mpeg1(vcd) or mpeg2(svcd) or varients like kvcd,skvcd,mvcd ect
