Ok, I downloaded Max Payne 2 off suprnova.org, and I tried to open it and there was an error saying: "C:\My Documents\MAX.PAYNE.2.THE.FALL.OF.MAX.PAYNE-DEViANCE.rar
The archive is either in unknown format or damaged"
What the hell do I do now???? Please help! :blink:

Try renaming the file to .iso. It's probably an iso. Open it with Deamons tools.

i agree again, but it could be corrupt, or a .bin or something else crazy what is the size??

you might also try makeing the file name shorter, and taking out those [periods before the extension...

what is it with people wanting to rename shit, that has nothing to do with it, and you can't mount a rar file, only cd formates
its probley has to do with this

I've gotten that too. The dowload might not have finished. Try to start the torrent again and see if that works.
Also there is on that has 2 .rar files missing on cd1. I think they're the RAR file and the last file for cd1.

im completly clueless on how to install this game into my comp...i see all these mp2_install.bin files when i click on the winrar files...but i have clue how to get this working...

why, I got it to work, no problems all tho I didn't like the fact they password protected the rar :angry: but the password is the URL of the release group
