A rip is a downgraded version of the full game, usually without the cut-scenes and intros and sometimes even without the sound.
It's basically just the game itself with no eye-candy. :P

Can you do a slow motion dive in Max Payne 2? Like in Max Payne 1, when you right click and press the right arrow it will dive to the right in slow motion. In Max Payne 2 it goes into slow motion, but I can't get the damn guy to dive. Anyone know how?

When you use the slow mo, you press shift to dive. Also, when your in slow mo and you reload, he does some type of spin.

A rip is reduced tremendously in size being zipped and compressed so many times they usually end up at about 100mb-300mb. They exclude mostly speech, music, movies and whatnot. Rips are intended for the slow download community of gamers.
A full game contains everything in a game, like you would expect when you buy the game from the shelf off your local walmart or something. You woul usually end up with a bin or cue file that you would use like discs from a game box set. Full game contains movies, speeches, music whatnot. But they are usally larger in size and thr 56k users will avoid them as much as possible.

its easy the default key i think is left shift so you push left shit and forward or left or right or back to dodge shots and right click is to go into bullet time.

But when trying to play cd 1 or cd 2 i get "wrong disc inserted"

enough flaming. no one is spamming to a lethal degree. ok, i still have like 1 hr left, so a rip prob won't be needed, but i know for sure that people, like tttttt, would love a rip. the max payne original that i played was a rip, not much different from the real one

i just followed my friends advice and dled uncut, and i just played. but word of caution, max payne 2 makes ur head very very woozy after u play for a while. i feel like puking rite now, and i have a cold. so i'm all screwed up

the deviance, if that is the 1 u have, was packed with a missing file. u need to get the missing file from another torrent on suprnova. the uncut i have was packed after deviance, without any missing stuff or errors. and uncut has more seeders

Damn I finsihed the game already. So the game follows its precursor then, with a short although sweet storyline.

Yeah, I loved the psychotic and bitter themes that Rockstar Games brought back for this one. The story is as dark as the first, and sets up that same "edge of life" mood, that everyone loves.
The gameplay also seemed smoother than the first, and the animations were very good, without bearing down on lower end PCs. I'd say that Max Payne 2 is definitely worth checking out.
