Is it possible to burn gamecube games and get a chip for the gamecube?

apparently so, but you might have problems burning discs that the standard GC can use because it only accepts 3" discs and a 3" DVD-R/W prolly can't hold a full game. the Panasonic GameCube Q (released only in Asia) accepts 5" discs for playback of DVD movies-- it is reportedly capable of playing GC games pirated on 5" DVD-R/W.

there's a company in Hong Kong called Lik-Sang which exports Panasonic Q's, if you're willing to pay the rather hefty price.

i allready have a standard gamecube so i guess its going to be dificult. But do u need a chip?

not sure, because i don't think anyone's succeeded in running burned/bootlegged discs on the standard GCs yet. check that other thread i linked-- somebody mentioned something about using a custom serial cable to stream games from a PC to a GameCube, i think.
