Think Verizon is a protector of P2P users' privacy? Think again. According to a recent article published in the L.A. Times, Verizon was willing to end their lawsuit aginst the RIAA and agreed to the following terms:
Verizon was willing to forward letters from the RIAA to customers accused of piracy,
Verizon was willing to comply with a limited number of RIAA subpoenas and
Verizon was willing to name a few names of alleged P2P pirates.
