Why Do Dvd Rips Sometimes Not Play Good?,

Does anyone know why DVD rips do not play back good sometimes? Particularly with avi preview?

Posted by: ultimatejester

Please try to be specific. Dvd rips always play good. If you burn them as kvcd and play them on a dvd player then you might have some trouble. Try to burn them at a slow speed(definitely less than 24x)

Yes, most of them play back correctly the only reason I could see them not is bad frames in the file.

What I mean is rips that I download, not that I've ripped myself

I know what u mean I just answered u. Try getting a prog name divxfix and see if that fixes your file.

What exactly do you mean by "doesn't play good"? What's happening with the files? Give us some examples, we'll get a better idea of what the problem is. :)
