Pausing In Max Payne 2

I completed MP2 in detective mod and now I want to take some screenies of max killing mobs in bullet time and mona is some chick action :P . So first of all, I need to be able to pause so I can get a good angle view of what I wanna screenshot. Then, it dawned on me, I don't know how to pasue the game in game mode!!
Everytime I hit ESC, which I reckon is the default 'pause' button, it brings me back to the menu, which is what the game is supposed to do anyways, I think. But what button should I hit so I can pause and freeze eg, max payne in motion??

Go to Options, Game. Its P or the Pause key <_<

yep thanks. btw, under options>games, there's no information on how to pause, seems like the 'pause' control in the game is self-explanatory. :lol:
