Divx Trouble

Recently, I downloaded Texas Chainsaw Massacre from Kazaa, a DivX file, but when I try to play it in DivX player, it just shows a blank screen. But when I play it in Windows Media Player, it works but not properly. Can somebody tell me what could be done? Please!!!

Actually, when I play it in WMP, the frame rate is a bit slow. Can't it be converted or corrected by some means?
