Deleted Partition, But Didn't Format.

I have 3 harddrives in my computer. I have been dealing with 2 of 'em as I try to get XP to recognize the two as different operating systems, although they are both XP. I figured that out, I just put one on IDE 0 and the other on IDE 1.

Here is where my question comes in...
I wasn't paying attention, busy watching UNC get raped by Duke (college basketball), and deleted the wrong partition.

Now, I am going to assume (out of hope) that the information is still there, since I didn't format it. I know the sectors should still be there, because if I was a computer genius I could just go into its binary and do my darn'dest to recover it. I know there are programs to recover already deleted files.

Please, ...someone.... tell me there is a way to recover all of the files that were there. I had close to 18 gigs of files/misc progs that I would have liked to add to my other harddrive, but I'm sad to say.. I donno if it is possible.

does ANYONE have any idea if I can recover the files on my, already deleted-partition... yet unformated, harddrive?

thank you..

Problem:

I have accidentally deleted a partition containing important files. How will these files be recovered ?

Solution:

Boot the computer in DOS mode using bootable floppy disk
Run Active@ UNERASER
Position to "Unallocated" line below the HDD containing deleted partition
Press [ENTER] to scan drive for deleted drives. If partition or logical drive is found, you are suggested to add them to the drive’s list (screenshot)
If drive parameters look similar to the one which you’ve deleted, press [Y] to add it to the drive’s list, otherwise press [N] to scan further
When your partition is properly detected and added to drive’s list, position the cursor at the partition line and verify partition information (screenshot)
Press [ENTER] to scan deleted partition for files and folders (screenshot)
Continue recovery of files and folders from this virtual drive the same way as it’s described in topics:
