I'm having prob with my monitor, when i start my pc the monitor seems to go into stanby, and stays in standby. How can i stop this from happening? :unsure:

Is your monitor PLUGGED in one of the blue slots at the back of the computer?

I don't really think this is a problem with your Monitor.
What Operating System is you using?
Back when I was using Windows ME, I had this problem allot, Every time it went into stand by, it wouldn't come out of it. I ended up just turning it off.
I think this is most likely your problem as well.

yes i am using windows ME. tried to switch off comp for a while but still didnt work. Will it sort itself out in time?

I think most people who have incompatibility problems usually just give up on ME. Personally i'd download and try XP. (to be safe get it off emule or bittorrent not kazaa, otherwise you might have problems)

I agree. Just Get XP. ME is horrible, actually, you'd be better off to go back to 98, then stick with ME. But if you can get a copy of Xp just switch, believe me, you will be happy with XP, very stable OS, especially for a Microsoft OS. ;)
