Power Point

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I downloaded 'Powerpnt.exe' (5834KB) and when I try to install, I get this message 'The operating system is not presently configured to run this application'. Any clues? Do I need to install something else along with it?
Thanks.

Are you sure it's the full installer? It looks a bit on the small side.
You might be better off looking for the full office suite, or on a sig2dat site like h**p://galleries.vinyamar.com/sig2dat/index.php?page=m

In order to run PowerPoint on a windows system you must have OFFICE installed, I do believe you cannot run it as a stand alone program, very confident with this statement. You can find various working versions of MS OFFICE on Kazaa, that would be what you need.
EDIT: typo

Sharedaddy is right on that one. Also make sure you have the correct Office that goes with the version of powerpoint you are installing. For example, if you are going to install Office 2000, powerpoint is included. If you are going to install Office XP, then you will need the latest version of powerpoint because it doesn't come with Office XP.

Thanks for the help, I'm downloading Office 2000 right now. Got a pretty good download speed too. Shouldn't take too long.

Good, now you don't need to install powerpoint seperately. It comes bundled in Office 2000.
