you said you would upload the torrent or something, but doesnt that mean you will be the only seeder? therefore it wont go to fast ? and if thats the case i said ill wait till the other guy is finished downloading from you then i will start after him so it doesnt slow him down...

There is no FFIX for PC. Before I had a ps2, I had asked Squaresoft by email if they would ever release FFIX for PC because I had FFVII and FFVIII. They told me no and there were no plans to release it. Since FFVIII, final fantasy has only made one appearance on the PC in FFXI the online game.
It is a playstation 1 game, so you'll have to run an emulator.

They aren't awkard, I played FFIX several years ago and it ran and looked great even on my ancient hardware. Just read the FAQs.
What you need is -
emulator (epsxe)
bios
iso/disc
