Okay, I've got a suggestion. I love the search option on this forum, but why does your keyword HAVE to be at least 4 characters long. It's really been getting to me lately. :angry: Like when you're looking for a post you read yesterday about a .wav or .iso problem and you can't remember what section it was in. The best way to find it is to do a search in all open forums in the last seven days for wav. Typically when you see the few topics listed you know which one it was, but it won't let you search because file extensions are typically 3 characters. Does this annoy anyone else? Can this be changed?

Indeed, it does make it really hard to search for file extensions sometimes, or subjects like DragonBall-z which are usually titles DBZ.

I never noticed that, although I'm using 'Search' all the time.
It must have been done that way to avoid getting too much results I think.

I agree Gumby, its a huge pain. Many times there are multiple rips of a movie, and it would be nice to just search for TMD or SMR, especially when the verifieds go back up.--

Yea, its a pain but i dont search the forum much but when i need to, it usually contains 3 letter words ;)

changed to 3, 4 was the standart Invisionboard setting. 4 letters saves some server load ...

Well, if anyones interested =) The thing is that the board makes up a "word"-list, the shorter the words, the larger the db as well as taking longer time to search. (just think of all occurances of THE f.ex, not to talk about mp3 or avi etc ;) )
