Seems like the CPU war are heating up again. Just when AMD looked defeated by Intel's P4 "C" chips, they answer with the Athlon 64. Intel's next chip, Prescott, is just around the corner. They plan on breaking the 4Ghz barrier in the following year.
I can't wait to see what the next year will bring to the world of PC performance. 2004 will be an interesting year indeed.

Tejas,the other system planned for next year also and nemhalema.up to 12 ghz check on google.

I've already seen some P4 systems with the 3.2 ghz overclocked to 4ghz and up, just think about the OCed systems you'll be seeing this time next year, anywhre from 5 to 7 ghz.
