hey,
There's a lot of crap on this board and I would just like to clean up some of my own useless bytes. You dweebs can ramble on about tamogochi or whatever you boys are playing with now, but there is a lot of good information in here that gets buried under message board diarrhea. <_<
Can only the moderator delete topics or does the person who started the topic have any control other than editing single posts?

That idea comes up from time to time, but the problem apparently is that people use that feature to try to get faster replies for their questions and problems.

i am giving no disrespect to noobs with only 6 posts.. because they dont tell people how to run thing's...
i WILL however stae that YOU shouldnt be doing it... these boards are for filesharing granted... but at the end of the day if you dont like wading through lots and lots of cr@p then just use search each and every time and dont visit a forum unless your result is in there...
or for a backup plan..
just turn the power off to your p.c.. it is better that way for everyone.

I agree with you completely, but you COULD have said it more subtle.
The spamming/flaming/postwhoring members are been taken care of at the moment, they got negative comments from others and there are discussions being held about this problem.

Yeah it would be a nice feature, but some people might abuse it. Besides, if you make a mistake like a double post, the mods or administrators can delete it.

Well that was fun. A couple of you did see through my facade of trying to stir it up a little, I'm sorry if I made anyone hot under the collar, I was just funnin'. But I was serious about the board. I've tried to search out specific problems just to get buried beneath 'back and forth banter'.
I can't remember what I was looking for now but I did a search, found 3 topics, but each had page after page of lounge crap and I never could find an answer. Then if somebody posts a "common" question you f***s call him a "noob" and ream the guy out for not doing a search on it first.
Yes, it's your board, and yes there are many very helpful people here, and yes I have gratitude for all the help you give and the time it takes, and yes it's a great place to kick back and chat, but it's not set up to find answers very well. The search tool is simply mediocre at best. The stickys are good if that's what you're looking for but if not, I'm afraid we're going to have noob after useless noob posting the same questions over and over again.
As for the thread I wanted nuked it’s in the questions section
