I just read there going to re make the 3 Originals Star Wars so it will fit in with the new ones adding extra scenes in such as Yoda at the beginning of the first Star Wars and changing Darth Vader's Face on return of the Jedi when Luke takes off his mask to match how he looks like in the new ones..
sorry this is dodgy and a bad idea leave the dam originals how they are!!

They aren't remaking the movies, just modifying them. I didn't hear about the darth vader face thing, but I did hear that they were going to change the originals a little so they fit with the 3 prequels. One of the things I heard was they're going to add Queen Amadala into a few scenes of the original Star Wars (a new hope). Can't say I'm positive about this though, they could still be rumors. Personally, they should leave the originals alone, the special editions of the original 3 were bad enough...

Lol that reminds me of that South Park episode were George Lucas and Stephen Steilberg were like evil and shit ruining the "classic" movies. I didn't really like Star Wars either so I don't care I really don't see what everyone else see's in them I actually like the second new one better than the old ones. I really like the second new one "Attack of The Clones" I think it's called it's the best in the series in my opinion.

if they do re release the origanl trilogy(with added crap) i wont buy em,i have 3 godamn copies each of the first trilogy and i aint buying another godamn star wars anything unless they finaly decide to put them on dvd and not in a frikin box set, I dont have 100+ bucks to spend on movies i already own 3 times over

Well, I was going by word of mouth, so maybe the guy that told me got it wrong. But come to think of it, you are right (if i remember the movie correctly). Personally, I don't like the 2 new ones they made, so I'd be against making any changes to the originals. I really hated that scene they added in A New Hope with Jabba and Han, don't know why but it just pissed me off.

i wonder how many of these people that say they dont like starwars are over the age of 15, thats not meant to offend, theres nofin wrong with not liking starwars or even not being alive when they first came out, but alot of ppl regard starwars as (the first 3, ep4, 5 and 6) as the greatest trilogy ever, and im 1 of them, so if u compare them to films that where out at the time maybe u can see where we are comin from. starwars ep 4, ep5 and ep6 are amasing!!!!!

yeah I remeber seeing Star Wars A New Hope in the theaters when it came out
and waiting in line for what seemed and eternity to see Return of the Jedi
and all the talk for months after Empire about Vaders revelation.
it was the best thing ever at the time.

All these folks pissing and moaning about messing with the Original Trilogy...Shut Up!!! They're only movies..I say do it, if it makes the whole 6 film saga look more uniformed then do it..people say 'well if he (lucas) had made the New trilogy more like the originals then he would'nt have to do this' but I say the New flicks would have looked f***in' pants if he had done that....If they can get rid of that CGI Jabba in Star Wars (special edition) Im all for it....... :lol:

Which order should someone who has NEVER seen Star Wars watch the films in?
(when the third one is out)
should you watch it Ep1, Ep 2 thru to Ep 6 or should you watch it in the order they were made.
Remember when you watched Return of the Jedi and Vader revealed himself to be Luke's father? That was an awesome moment, but if you watch Eps 1-3 before hand then this will be no surprise for you. A lot of the mystery of watching Star Wars is going to be lost for anyone new to it...Lucas has spoiled this for generations to come...bastard :angry:

It is obvious lucas wants to rake in more money making ep 1,2 & 3 in 2005.
Probably by 2006 he will re-edit parts 4,5,& 6 and release them for the next generation of kids.
Disney does the same for all its classic movies they release them in different formats and add on new bits for the grandchildren of the people who originally saw them in the cinemas. :D
