i dunno bout that cause the folder well i duno.... just turn off the music and play a cd while ur playing the game takes less time and effort then messn wiht the folders

Use a portable cd player and you have no system performance issue... :P

Yeah man some of the music is truly CRAP. I dont wanna listen to some 80's style rock shit while racing :angry:
Ive been trying to figure it out how to change the music for a while.
Their are these files with an AST extension in the SNDSTREAMS folder and im guessing that them files contain the music.
I just cant find anything about AST files. I found this one program called ast player but its an old dos program and it just freezes my PC.
I dont mind using winamp in the background, but it would still be good just to have your fav tunes for racing when the race starts.
Maybe their is some info on some NFS underground modding site.
